  1. So sorry for your loss of Rio – the big, furry, loving supervisor of our painting class.

  2. Thanks, Lynne. I’m so glad you had the opportunity to experience his uniqueness along with the rest of us.

  3. Rio was a great dog. I loved his presence. You home, especially your art room feels empty without him. I will miss him.

  4. Quite true. Rio impressed people where ever he went. He was truly a gentle giant of a dog. Thank you for caring.

  5. I was so sorry to read this news. I know what it is to lose a four legged family member. He will always be remembered, but never replaced.

  6. Nice comment, Ferole. So very true. Rio was a work of art, unique, irreplaceable. However, we who have experienced the irreplaceable are fortunate. Time is precious.

  7. Hello Woody…it has been many years since we first met and I still remember those art classes in Sacramento.
Being a big animal lover, I just cried over the loss of that beautiful creature. Their time here is so brief, too brief, and all we can do is thank them any way we can for being our visitor in time.
Take care and hope all is well.

    WOODY’S REPLY: Hi Bobbi!
So good to hear from you. Thanks for your comment. Rio was a marvelous, magnificent, irreplaceable companion and friend. Last weekend’s workshop was just not the same without his happy participation. Fond memories of him are EVERYWHERE.

I recall the BHCC and the fine care you provided my mother in her time of need. I also recall a fun Mt. Shasta Watercolor workshop in which you and some BHCC friends participated. While in Mt. Shasta for last weekend’s workshop, my wife and I reminisced about your particular workshop group. It is right up there among our most enjoyable workshops.
I hope you are finding time to continue your work with watercolor?
