Mountain Symphony, begins as a class demonstration. There is little to no preplanning, no sketch, and minimal forethought, but lots of luck. One might call this approach, “high risk, low gain.” Usually, I tend to agree with such a premise. However, in this case the risk is worth it. When evaluating a painting, one of the tings I like to ask my self is, “could I paint it again?”If the answer is, “no,” I have met one of my tests for originality. In this case, Mountain Symphony meets that test.
