Below is a sample of her daily offerings, including daily photos of the wonder dog.
Let me give you an example: I’ve been searching for MONTHS for a trainer to ease back into weight lifting, which is something I did for YEARS.
Once upon a time, working with a male trainer wouldn’t have bothered me – not only was that my only choice for many years, but also my weight training has always been geared to building strength AND muscle. I’m not interested in a thin, “bikini body,” or working out to fit into a wedding dress, or losing weight just for a reunion – things many women look for when they want to “work out.”
There’s NOTHING wrong with those goals, but they aren’t my goals.
I want to be strong and look it, and as a menopausal woman with rheumatoid arthritis, building strength and muscle goes hand in hand with keeping my bone density up and battling the degenerative properties of my disease.
I’ve been searching for a female trainer who understands the science behind training and nutrition for WOMEN (which is different than it is for men – even more so as women age), and who was well-versed in building strength and muscle versus simply focusing on programs designed for weight loss and being thin.
To add to the complication of the search, I needed a program that doesn’t require going to the gym – it’s a 45 minute drive (one way) to the nearest gym, and I’m not willing to spend 90 minutes sitting in a car on my quest to get fit!
While searching and searching and searching, I stumbled on the PERFECT trainer, and her website included several articles, guides, and training examples as well as a free quiz to determine the type of program she’d recommend based on my goals, age, and level of fitness.
Each of them was SIMPLE – a few thousand words in the articles and guides, a few short videos, and a simple quiz built on an easy-to-use platform.
I read the articles, downloaded the guides, watched the videos, took the quiz, and then I followed her on Instagram and Facebook, so I could learn more and to be sure I didn’t miss any of her posts – like I said: OBSESSION.
Now, I can ASSURE you, that this trainer DID NOT think about me SPECIFICALLY when she set up her website or any of her training programs, but she DID pursue something she loved, and she put it out into the world bit by bit.
I was on a hunt for what I needed, and I found her, and once I did, I wanted MORE.
What YOU do…What YOU love…What YOU want to CREATE…there are people out there looking for it RIGHT NOW, and while you might doubt that, I promise you, it is TRUE.
Providing the right information at the right time to the right person is worth its weight in gold – over and over again.
