FREE FRIDAY PAINT-OUTS

Nearly every Friday of the year (weather permitting)

FREE FRIDAYS are offered at 9 am, nearly every Friday throughout  the year. We meet along the American River Parkway in Sacramento, California. Free Friday is an excellent opportunity to paint, draw, see a demonstration, learn about watercolor painting, ask questions, or just observe.

DIRECTIONS TO SITE

The American River Parkway is accessed off Watt Avenue on La Riviera Drive. The park entrance is on the North side of La Riviera Drive. Pay the park entry fee. Then go straight ahead. At the next intersection, turn left and head to the West end of the parking lot. A few yards east of the boat ramp is a short, level trail heading north, toward the river and a large open area amid shade trees. This is our meeting point.

The park is open year-round from sunrise to sunset. A nominal fee is required, including special event days and on weekends. Season passes available. Details at the gate-house.
